Mission:

To provide financial assistance to families who are members of our community who have experienced a sudden tragedy or an act of God that may require immediate help for unexpected bills, funeral costs, expenses relating to sudden death of a spouse or child, or a weather related disaster.

During the shutdown of baseball from COVID-19, we were able to partner with More Than Baseball to create the MiLB Family Fund and raise over $500,000 to help baseball families navigate this unprecedented time. We have also raised funds privately and through GoFundMe accounts to support the families of Tyler Skaggs, Jose Fernandez, Chace Numata, and Emily and Cullen Bivens. Although we hope to not see events like this again, we know there may come a time when we will be called on to unite as a family and help one of our own to navigate a loss requiring financial help. Rather than scrambling to raise money when the unexpected happens, having an emergency fund will allow us to jump in and help immediately.
